Hearing on Design Guidlines for West Concord Village

| No TrackBacks
There is an upcoming West Concord Task Force meeting next Tuesday, June 16 at 7 PM at the Thoreau School where the public will be able to give input on these design guidelines, currently in draft form. Do note that if there doesn't seem to be much objection, the Planning Board will approve and adopt them in July. If there does seem to be a fair number of issues the public brings to the table, then their adoption will be postponed.

These draft guidelines will help shape the kind of businesses, buildings, traffic and population density we would like to see in West Concord into the future, which makes citizen involvement important. Click here to see the draft guidelines:
http://www.concordnet.org/pages/ConcordMA_BComm/West%20Concord%20Task%20Force (there are four related documents to download on that page).

We believe this is an opportunity for residents and business owners -- regardless of where they live -- to both be briefed, and to voice their concerns, helping to retain West Concord's unique character.

Those who wish to submit comment in writing can do so by email or snailmail: mrasmussen@concordma.gov or Director of Planning, 141 Keyes Road, Concord, MA 01742.
