Did last year's wide-spread ice storm make you wonder how to keep your family and our community safe and comfortable in a similar disaster?"All hazards" planning by individuals, families and neighborhoods can make emergencies more smooth, safe, and comfortable. This is planning that is fairly simple, and involves preparations that anyone can begin right now.
This two-part workshop will start you on your way to making your home ready to "weather" many types of emergencies. It will be taught free of charge by staff from Concord's Emergency Management Agency. Learn concrete, hands-on ways you can help yourself, your family, your neighborhood, and our community to become better prepared.
