Most of the focus during the Patriot's Day Parade (this year on April 20th) is on the parade itself. But we find the transformation of Main Street particularly magical. Images below are of Main Street (as it comes into Monument Square) before the crowds gather and just after the last marchers go by. The crowd is following behind the parade to the Old North Bridge to witness the battle reinactment. (Schedule for the 1998 Patriot's Day events, including the parade.)

Who says there's a daytime parking problem?
