the restless blue sea
New England
my New England
of emerald forests whispering natures best kept secrets
of granite coasts welcoming the restless blue sea
of golden sandy beaches and their lazy surf
of peaceful lakes on the silhouette of the mountains
rising in graceful majesty on the amber horizon
of waters so clear and fresh
roaming aimlessly to the sea
of fields of flowers painted on the sky
of springtime and new birth
of winters white hand
waiting for summer's soft caress

For you, New England
all my love.
