On New Year's Eve (December 31, 1999) and New Year's Day (January 1, 2000), a lot of parties will be held. A lot of bubbly will be drunk. A lot of good wishes will be wished for a bright future. And we hope a lot of photos will be snapped.

We are pleased to announce our New Year's Photo contest. Photos must be taken in Concord, MA either on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day. Please send your entries -- digital photos or ones on ol' fashioned paper....sorry, we can't handle slides -- by February 1, 2000 to:

Please include your name and a way for us to reach you (phone number or email address). Please also include up to 25 words about the photo. If the photographer is under 18 years of age, please state this. If you wish it to be returned to you, include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

We will publish a selection of the photos we receive, and will choose one youth (under 18 years) and one adult winner. Those who win will receive a beautiful grape-emblazoned Concord Homepage t-shirt designed by Concord's Priscillia Sturges.

So, get snapping, Concord! Oh....and happy new year!
