An Ever-Changing View of the Sudbury River

Photos by Donald Stevenson, Concord resident.

Watching the drama of light and the seasons play over the local scenery can be stunning when the view is like the one displayed on this page. All taken from Newbury Court, the images here span the past five years. The river is the Sudbury, just downstream of the bridge on Sudbury Road (just barely visible in some of the shots) and looking easterly. The hill to the left is Fairhaven, and in the distance, the tiny bump on the horizen toward the right is Mount Misery. The stream in the foreground is Jenny Duggan Brook.
