Very occasionally, we do not give credit for an artist's work. It's not that we don't want to; it's that we don't know WHO to credit. This is an apology and an explanation of how this happens.
Our editor spends a lot of time looking for good art for this ezine among the hundreds of graphic arts sites online. Most work is not quite up to snuff. But when she does find graphics she likes, she downloads and archives them for later use.
When it comes time to adding the graphics to the pages, if she doesn't remember where she got it from, she is reminded by the info in the "Get Info" window (this is Macintosh stuff, folks) which automatically records the URL. Pretty cool, huh?
Yup. Except for one thing: any time the desktop is rebuilt (more Mac-talk) this info gets obliterated! For this issue's work, we spent several hours trying to retrace just where she found some of this art in order to give proper credit.
If your work is on these pages uncredited, PLEASE let us know so we can correct this!
