Patriots' Day 2001

There will be numerous events both in Concord and throughout the area commemorating the 226th anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord. Below are some of the local offerings taking place between April 14-21, 2001. Please note that these events are coordinated among many groups. All times are subject to change. Roads in Concord Center on the 16th will be closed to traffic starting at 8:30 am. For additional information, please call (978) 369-6993. Walk down a candlelit path and enter the world of 1775. Listen to the personal stories of those who lived along the Battle Road on April 19, 1775. Join Captain William Smith, Mary Hartwell, Ephraim and Elizabeth Hartwell, cattle drovers, musicians and His Majesty's soldiers for this special evening of theatre and history. Meet guides at the Hartwell Parking Area on Route 2A/Battle Road in Lincoln. Admission is free.
