Photos by Rich Stevenson. The warmer days of May draw us outdoors, while the sun and bright skies urge us to look upward. And as we do so, we notice the typical rooftop ornamentation found throughout much of New England: cupolas and steeples. The latter, of course, are features of our churches. And cupolas on houses, barns, garages, sheds are so common as to be ubiquitous. (We didn't find any on a dog house, but we have a bet with our photographer that there is at least one we missed.)
