10:30 AM - Bedford Pole Capping. - parade and ceremonies, Bedford
1:30 PM - Meriam's Corner Exercise. Procession from Meriam Road to Meriam's Corner
3 PM - Paul Revere Capture Ceremony. NPS Revere Capture Site, Rt. 2A,

Sunday, April 13
2 PM - Fight at Jason Russell House. Mass. Ave., Arlington Center, skirmish
commemorates bloodiest fighting and most colonials killed at one location on 19 April 1775, all in Menotomy
Saturday, April 19
6 AM - Dawn Salute. MMNHP hill overlooking North Bridge, arrival of Dr.
Prescott by horse, reading of the alarm notice to the Concord Minute Men, musket and cannon salute by the Concord Minute Men and the Concord Independent Battery, Concord
7:15 AM - Remembrance Ceremony and Wreath Laying. Concord Minute Men and HM IV Regiment of Foot, North Bridge
10:30-11:30 AM - Sudbury Companyes Minute Men and Militia arrive at North
Bridge after recreated 1775 march from Sudbury, continue their trek on to Hartwell Tavern
9 AM - 4 PM - Hartwell Tavern open to the public including such characters as
Ephraim and Elizabeth Hartwell
12-3 PM - Henry Thoreau and Concord's Two Revolutions.
Talk with Henry Thoreau at his Walden Pond home about his views on the American Revolution and the current (for 1847) revolution in Literature and Thought. Walden Pond State Reservation.
9 AM - 4 PM - Battle Road 2002, Commemoratives/Recreations

Monday, April 21
9 AM - Patriots' Day Parade from Stow Street up Main St and Lowell Road to the Old North Bridge then to Monument St and back up Main to Stow St.
9 AM - Commemorative re-creation at
North Bridge
9-5 PM -
Concord Museum Exhibits. -
Rarely seen images, maps and artifacts, including one of the lanterns Paul Revere ordered hung in the North Church in Boston as a signa and a very rare print by the patriot and engraver Paul Revere (1735-1818). (www.concordmuseum.org for more info)
10:30 AM-5 PM - Hands-on Museum Activities for children including patriotic puzzles, face-painting and a star-studded craft project, as well as dramatic living history presentations for the whole family featuring 18th-century patriots debating the issues of the day (12:15 and 1:15).
12:15 and 1:15 PM - April, 1775 Play. Listen in on April 1775 political discussions
among Concord citizens (Dr. Cuming, the Bliss brothers Daniel and Nathaniel, Duncan Ingraham) of the period on such issues as tea and liberty
2 PM - Lexington Parade
7 PM - Dusk at the North Birdge. Luminaries glow in the twilight with patriotic music and speeches commemorating the events of April 19, 1775.
April 26
7-9 PM -
"Heroes of Battle Road" includes first-person colonial re-enactors. Guided groups depart every 20 minutes from the Hartwell Tavern parking lot on 2A.
Sunday, April 27
2 PM - Commemorative Marking of colonial and British soldiers' graves, begin at
Pierce House, march to Old Burying Ground (Lexington Road
